Poconos ski resorts get very busy during the ski season, and Pocono Ski Rentals is a large part of that, we are the biggest ski shop in the Poconos and can service over 1000 equipment renters a day. Below are some commonly asked questions, if you have any additional questions please feel free to contact us.
Very easy. We located right off of a major interstate exit on I-80, on the main road to Camelback Ski Resort. Pocono Ski Rentals is located at the foot of Big Pocono Mountain and Camelback Resort at 1832 Sullivan Trail, Tannersville, PA 18372.
Is renting equipment from you more affordable than at the resort?
Yes, our rental prices are 35% below resort prices.
What are some local Poconos Ski Resorts?
Camelback Resort, Blue Mountain Resort, Shawnee Mountain, Big Boulder Ski Area, Jack Frost Mountain and Big Bear at Masthope Mountain.
What type of condition is your rental equipment in?
All rental equipment is in excellent condition, cleaned and maintained daily.
How long does the rental process take from the time we get there, until the time we leave?
Depending on how busy we are, but typically about 10 minutes.
Is there anything I can do to make the rental process faster?
Pre-register on our website to speed up the process and also get a 10% discount.
Can I rent for more than just one day?
Yes, you can rent equipment for an entire season, a day or multiple days.
If I rent ski’s and I do not like them, can I come back and switch to a snowboard rental or vice-versa?
Can I take my rental to any Ski Resort?

We are located in PA close to Poconos Ski Resorts, but our customers come from all over including NJ, NY, FL, VA, NC and even PR.
Do you provide all year rentals?
Yes, we have season rentals available.
Yes, extended rentals are allowed. Just stop in to advise us of the change.
Do you have an option where I can buy my rentals?
All rental equipment is available for purchase at attractive prices.
What is your rental-return policy?
We are open a ½ hour after the mountain closes, so all rental equipment should be returned by then.
If the time of my rental I have to cancel due to bad weather, do you offer rain checks?
Just call us if cancelling a registration and we’ll be glad to re-schedule.
I went home with my rental, what are your late fees?
If rental equipment is not returned, a $350 fee is charged to your credit card. Hopefully you will call us of the oversight to make arrangements to return the equipment in a timely manner.
What happens if a piece of equipment breaks?
A nominal insurance fee is available to cover all breakage.
Do you sell ski’s/snowboards?
Yes, we sell both new and used skis and snowboards.
What type of equipment do you sell at your shop?
All types of ski and snowboard equipment and accessories.
What type of accessories do you sell?
Everything needed for a fun day on the slopes including helmets, gloves and goggles.
Do you offer large group rental discounts?
Call in advance for special group discounts.
Do you mount or remount skis or snowboards?
Do you provide tune-ups, resurface, edge services?
Do you allow RV Parking?
We have overnight parking for RV’s, this is not allowed at the resorts. The fee is $25/night and no hook-ups are available. You must sign a liability release and leave by 8:00am or sooner for snow removal.
